Construction Manager in Roadway

This is what you can achieve. • You lead the planning, organization, and implementation of complex roadway projects across all construction phases. • In doing so, you ensure the technical feasibility of the track technology work and ensure the timely provision of all relevant resources. • Additionally, you monitor construction processes on site, coordinate internal and external partners, and initiate corrective measures immediately in the event of deviations. • You are responsible for verifying cost estimates, monitoring cost development during construction, and creating final cost forecasts. • You take on the training of new employees and promote knowledge transfer within the team. • You actively engage in the conceptual further development of the departments and represent them in relevant bodies. This is what you bring. • You have experience in conceptual work and have already contributed to the further development of specialist topics. • Additionally, you are able to strategically coordinate construction projects, involve internal and external partners, and make fact-based decisions. • You have in-depth specialist knowledge in track technology and safety. You have several years of proven experience in managing demanding construction sites with complex interfaces in track technology. • For this function, we require further training or a degree in a relevant technical field (civil engineering, track technology, or comparable further training) or alternatively several years of experience in construction execution in track construction. • You are familiar with industry-specific IT programs and digital planning tools. • You have very good German language skills (at least C1) in word and writing, knowledge of any other national language is a plus.
