Ittigen \| 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • As head of the specialized service, represent medical issues related to the NBC (CBRN) sector within the medical service. • Develop directives for the CBRN medical sector and provide contributions to national CBRN protection • Constantly monitor the situation regarding CBRN threats and deduce medical measures for the protection of troops in Switzerland and abroad • Provide advice to the Spiez high security Laboratory and to the NBC-KAMIR Competence Center, as well as develop contributions for research activities • Coordinate training and advancement in the field of military medicine within the scope of defense, develop and review the relevant training bases, and provide advice to the chief medical officer of the army and other stakeholders • Represent the needs and interests of the Swiss Army in working groups and specialized bodies at national and international levels, as well as assume the deputy role of the medical officer in charge of Medical Intelligence <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Doctor holding a federal diploma or federally recognized diploma, degree (master) in a natural sciences discipline • Understanding of military medicine processes (preferably staff officer) as well as in-depth knowledge in the CBRN sector or willingness to acquire/deepen such knowledge • Ability to quickly identify connections and deduce the measures to be taken, as well as an autonomous and far-sighted way of working • Willingness to work in teams, to provide your contribution in specialist bodies, and to travel regularly abroad • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language, as well as excellent knowledge of English <br /> In summary In this unique position within the Swiss Army, as an expert you will provide advice to various stakeholders on issues related to medical prevention and defense against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRN) threats and will play a leading role in the development of operational guidelines for CBRN medical defense.
