• strategic and operative school development
• leadership responsibility, collaboration in the school management team
• cultivation of constructive relationships with students, parents, teachers and stakeholders
• personnel management as a focus
• further joint definition of the division of departments and tasks within the school management team

Your background

• several years of professional experience as a Sek I teacher, recognized pedagogical training
• recognized school management training or willingness to complete this alongside professional work
• strong communication skills, interest in structured and sustainable school development
• ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, solution-oriented communication, good ICT skills
• interest in an open, participatory leadership culture

Sekundarschule Liestal

The Sekundarschule Liestal is the largest secondary school in the Canton of Baselland and consists of the two school buildings Burg and Frenke. Currently, we teach 47 school classes from the ability levels A, E and P, with over 850 students from eight municipalities. Our interprofessional team consists of 145 teachers, school special education teachers and social pedagogues. We cultivate collegiality, an open manner and we also do not lack humor - quite in accordance with our motto: "zämme lehre, zämme wachse, zämme si". The school management is happy to accompany and support you during your induction.
