The function is suitable both for experienced project managers seeking the next step towards team leadership, and for civil engineers with leadership experience who wish to remain close to technology and projects.

YOUR TASKS:

As a Team Manager

• Technical and personnel management and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams with civil engineers, drafters, and internal specialists
• Responsibility for resources, deadlines, costs, and quality and representation towards internal and external project partners
• Accompanying junior civil engineers in their professional development and actively passing on your experience
• Resource planning and further development of the team with the branch management

In the projects – as a Project Manager

• Management of versatile and demanding new construction and renovation projects with a focus on structural engineering, from project design to realization and commissioning
• Development of economical and technically convincing solutions for excavation pits, foundations, and structures in different construction methods
• Processing and assessing structures made of reinforced concrete, steel, and wood and using suitable static models and calculation methods
• Technical leadership and accompaniment of the project team and ensuring quality, cost, and deadline targets
• Close cooperation with clients, architects, specialist planners, and specialists within and outside the company
• Preparation of reports, cost estimates, and tender documents and project accompaniment into execution
• Depending on the project and personal focus; undertaking demanding static modeling and dimensioning

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies as a Civil Engineer ETH/FH or comparable training
• Experience as a project manager or team leader is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in structural planning, ideally from project design to execution
• Sound knowledge in statics and construction of structural engineering, foundations, and/or excavation pits
• Experience with FEM and statics software such as AxisVM, CUBUS, or DC-Grundbaustatik
• Enjoyment in not only calculating technical solutions but also developing and realizing them together with clients, architects, and specialist planners
