Die Dienststelle Informatik (DIIN) provides comprehensive IT services for the departments, courts and schools of the Kanton Luzern. In addition to advising on IT issues in the areas of architecture, security, infrastructure, projects and applications and providing IT services, it operates the cantonal IT infrastructure in two modern data centers and is responsible for the construction and operation of the complex cantonal communication network.

Your tasks

• As Product Owner, you are responsible for the strategic further development of our platform, define the product vision, maintain the platform backlog and prioritize requirements along lines of benefit, security, stability and regulatory requirements.
• Together with the participating teams, you design the technical architecture and actively participate in the construction of the platform. In doing so, you drive the standardization of APIs, integrations, automation solutions and infrastructure components.
• The expansion of modern platform services is as much part of your area of responsibility as the establishment of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code approaches as well as ensuring stable and scalable operation.
• In close cooperation with specialist departments, architecture, security, operations and development teams, you ensure that functional requirements are translated into sustainable and future-proof technical solutions.
• Through the development of standards, practical guidelines and self-service offerings, you enable teams to use the platform independently and actively promote a modern DevOps culture.

Your profile

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer enables you to handle strategic issues as confidently as technical challenges.
• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification forms the basis of your professional expertise.
• Sound knowledge of cloud and container technologies as well as practical experience with modern platforms, automation solutions and deployment processes characterize your profile.
• You understand the connections between API design, integrations, CI/CD and platform architectures holistically and can derive technical decisions in a targeted and comprehensible manner.
• Communication skills, initiative and a pronounced hands-on mentality round off your profile. At the same time, you succeed in switching effortlessly between strategic vision and technical depth.
