Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

Introduction

Do you like leading people clearly and appreciatively, think in clean processes, and ensure that material flows function reliably? For our client, we are looking for you as a Logistics Manager. You are responsible for goods receipt, warehouse, picking, shipping, and transport - with a focus on quality, deadlines, costs, and our customers' satisfaction.

Tasks

• Technical and personnel leadership of the logistics team
• Planning and controlling material flows including internal supply
• Responsibility for stocks: defining target stocks and ranges, conducting inventories, clarifying discrepancies
• Managing key figures: delivery reliability, lead times, inventory turnover, productivity; analyzing deviations and implementing measures
• Freight forwarding & transport: booking/optimizing freight, planning tours, interface to freight forwarders; ensuring service level
• Quality & safety: anchoring occupational safety and quality in everyday life; considering basic hazardous goods principles

Profile

• Completed training as Logistiker/in EFZ; further training as Logistikfachmann/-frau with eidg. FA or comparable is an advantage
• Several years of leadership experience in warehouse/shipping/intralogistics of an industrial company
• Competent in inventory control, material flow, 5S/Lean, and continuous improvement
• Proficient in handling ERP/WMS and hand scanners; high data and process diligence
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
