In the 12-month development program «Avanti», you will prepare specifically for a leadership role in logistics and gain valuable experience along the entire value chain. What you can achieve

• During the 12-month development program, you will get to know all work areas of the Briefzentrum Zürich-Mülligen and develop a comprehensive understanding of the logistics processes.
• In addition, you will build up your specialist knowledge step by step by taking on tasks from goods receipt through sorting and picking to goods dispatch and specifically developing your skills.
• In the control center, you will monitor operational processes and technical systems, gain valuable insights into daily operations, and get to know the sorting center from different perspectives.
• Furthermore, you will network with different areas, understand the overall connections of a modern sorting center, and thereby lay the foundation for your further development.
• You will gain cross-departmental operational and leadership experience and will be individually accompanied and supported by a member of the management.
• After successful program completion, you will take on responsibility in the role of Teamleader:in, through which you will specifically advance your logistics career.

What you bring with you

• You have completed basic training and ideally possess further training at the level of Fachausweis or a comparable qualification.
• In addition, you bring several years of professional experience and want to specifically develop towards leadership responsibility.
• You are interested in the logistics industry, enjoy working with numbers, and take responsibility in organizationally demanding situations.
• Furthermore, you convince through your open, confident, and solution-oriented personality and actively tackle changes.
• You maintain an overview even in hectic situations, act deliberately, and possess the necessary physical and mental resilience for shift work.
• You are ready to work in the permanent night shift (working time window 20.00-06.00) as well as on Sundays (working time window 18.00-05.00). In order to get to know the diverse processes and flows of the sorting center holistically, you will additionally complete around 16 weeks of alternating assignments in the early shift (06.00-15.00) and late shift (14.05-23.00) including weekends during the 12-month development program Avanti.
• You communicate very well orally and in writing in German.
