Your tasks

• Leading professional development as part of the nursing management team, as well as leading and co-shaping the practice development process to promote person-centered and evidence-based nursing practice
• Advising, empowering, and supporting the interprofessional team, especially in highly complex situations
• Collaboration in direct nursing as well as active participation in evaluations, projects, and research groups
• Close cooperation with specialist leads of the Department of Acute Medicine and the Department of Expertise and Research of the Universitätsspital Basel, as well as participation in cross-clinical, national, and international specialist and working groups
• Development, implementation, and further development of guidelines, concepts, and professional standards

Your profile

• Master of Science in Nursing or ongoing studies
• Several years of sound practical experience and in-depth theoretical knowledge in nursing and nursing research, as well as the ability to pass on this knowledge
• Teamwork skills and competencies in participatory leadership
• Enjoyment of working in a dynamic university environment
• Proactive, communicative, and independent personality who moves confidently in an interprofessional environment and can inspire others for the further development of nursing
