La Fédération des Hôpitaux Vaudois informatique ( FHVi ), is the preferred IT partner of 12 hospitals and regional health establishments in the canton of Vaud. The FHVi accompanies them in the numerous challenges of the digital transformation of the healthcare sector and has as its main missions to plan, design, implement and operate the IT system of its members. This represents more than 120 employees serving 14,000 users, for a park of more than 8,000 workstations distributed across about a hundred geographical sites and across three cantons (VD, VS, FR).

The FHVi is looking for a Network Team Lead capable of combining technical expertise, architectural vision and team coordination in order to guarantee the performance, availability and evolution of its critical network infrastructures.
Your mission:
As a Network Team Lead, you are above all a high-level technical referent. You intervene on subjects of architecture, resilience and evolution of network infrastructures while ensuring the operational coordination of a team of experts.
You actively participate in technological choices, the resolution of complex issues and the conduct of strategic projects that support the activities of the FHVi.
Your responsibilities:
Network expertise & architecture
Ensure the role of technical referent on the network infrastructures of the FHVi.
Design, evolve and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and Datacenter network architectures.
Define technical standards, best practices and network architecture directions.
Guarantee the availability, performance and resilience of network infrastructures.
Intervene on complex issues and major level 3 incidents.
Security & service continuity
Contribute to the securing of network infrastructures: segmentation, filtering, access control and flow management.
Collaborate with the CISO on cybersecurity initiatives.
Participate in the management of vulnerabilities and security incidents.
Contribute to continuity and business recovery plans.
Guarantee compliance with standards and compliance requirements.
Run Maintenance
Guarantee the stability and availability of network infrastructures in production on a daily basis.
Ensure the efficient processing of incidents and service requests within the specified timeframes, while ensuring compliance with defined service levels.
Supervise the health of critical network infrastructures and services via the monitoring tools in place.
Regularly produce and communicate performance indicators (KPIs) to management: service availability, volume and backlog status, resolution rate and processing times.
Identify recurring problems and implement lasting corrective actions.
Ensure service continuity during planned interventions (maintenance, updates) in coordination with the relevant teams.
Technical leadership & coordination
Be the technical referent of the network team, escalation point for complex incidents and level 3 technical issues.
Coordinate the daily activities of the team: task distribution, progress monitoring and priority management.
Ensure technical coaching and skill development of employees.
Promote knowledge sharing within the team: documentation, feedback and best practices.
Contribute to the definition of the network technical roadmap in connection with IT management.
Participate in transformation and infrastructure evolution projects.
Profile sought:
Education & experience
Higher education in computer science or telecommunications (HES Engineer, EPF or title deemed equivalent).
Minimum 7 years of experience in network and security engineering.
Significant experience in critical and complex environments.
First experience in technical coordination or team leadership appreciated.
Technical skills
Solid expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, MSTP) on LAN, WAN and Datacenter infrastructures.
Mastery of network security solutions: firewalls, segmentation, filtering, VPN and access control (NAC).
Experience with Wi-Fi infrastructures and multi-site environments.
Very good knowledge of high availability architectures and redundant infrastructures.
Experience with network supervision and observability tools.
Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent) appreciated.
