As a social enterprise acting in a diaconal spirit, the Fondation St. Stephanus supports people going through difficult phases of life. By developing a caring community and offering services for children, young people, and families, the foundation provides advice, community, and practical daily help. The foundation finances its services through the management of its attractive real estate assets. We are mandated to recruit a structured, strategic, and team-oriented personality as Real Estate Management Manager (80 to 100 %) and member of the management team. Directly reporting to the Director General, you are responsible for managing the real estate portfolio, reconciling commercial and social orientation, and leading the administrative and technical team. This includes lettings, including initial lettings, maintenance and management, as well as facility management. For construction projects, you ensure the consideration of operational requirements and the commissioning of new buildings. You enjoy evolving processes, systems, and organization and contribute to the strategic orientation of the foundation.
You have a higher education degree in real estate management or facility management or an equivalent qualification. Your several years of experience in personnel management as well as in managing a demanding real estate portfolio is decisive. You possess in-depth knowledge of lease and service charge law, technical understanding as well as financial skills and market knowledge. Experience in construction or renovation projects is an asset. Ideally, you are familiar with the non-profit organization sector and are sensitive to forms of community living. Personally, you will convince with your autonomy, your creativity, your team spirit, and your solidity at the management level.
