First impressions count: As the face of a specialized veterinary dental practice, you shape the impression that pet owners take away from their visit. In Affoltern am Albis, Canton Zürich, we are looking for a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ with a focus on reception at a workload of 80 – 100 %, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a modern referral practice for veterinary dentistry with the highest standards in anesthesia and pain therapy, a small, dedicated team and a varied everyday working life between reception and clinical support await you.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You receive and look after pet owners in a friendly and professional manner and are the first contact person on-site and on the phone
• You coordinate appointments for consultations, surgeries, and follow-up examinations and handle admission, discharge, and correspondence
• You create invoices and complete administrative tasks related to everyday practice life
• You support the specialists as needed during dental examinations and treatments as well as during preparation and follow-up
• Under guidance, you assist in the preparation and monitoring of anesthesias and document treatments
• You ensure hygiene, sterilization of instruments, and material management

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ or Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ
• Very good German skills as well as, if possible, good English skills
• Joy in interacting with people and animals
• Willingness to assist in the clinical area in addition to reception duties
