Pilatus Flachdach AG is an established, market-leading flat roof metalworking company with nearly 90 employees. The company is based in Samstagern. To strengthen the organization, we are looking for a Workshop Manager.

Your future function and role

As Workshop Manager, you are the central contact point for the organization and the smooth operation in the workshop. Your job is a mix of office (60%) and production (40%).

• You organize and control the daily work in the workshop and lead 1- 2 employees
• You coordinate production in the metalworking area (cutting sheet metal, bending, welding, etc.)
• You can operate and program modern CNC machines (press brake, swinguing bending and punching machine, as well as a modern welding robot) and calculate sheet metal processes
• You are responsible for goods receipt, incoming inspection and goods issue
• You take care of the issuance/return of consumables, tools and machines
• You organize maintenance and repairs of the tools and machines
• You have experience with CNS and aluminum welding (shielding gas)

Our expectations

• You work independently, are conscientious and enjoy technology and machines
• You have training and experience as a plant/apparatus builder, tinsmith or comparable
• You have experience and enjoy programming (CNC) machines (welding robot)
• You are a robust, down-to-earth personality
• You have very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Ideally, you have already worked in a workshop/tinsmith shop and are familiar with warehousing
• Ideally, you live in the Samstagern region (+/- 30 min. away by car)
