Head of Marketing / Member of the Executive Board

With strategic foresight, a sense for brands and people, and a confident understanding of the market as well as female and male consumers, you will shape the future of the Swissmilk brand. The SMP is the national umbrella organization of Swiss milk producers. Under the Swissmilk brand, it operates the national marketing for Swiss milk and dairy products. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurially-minded and convincing personality as Head of Marketing / Member of the Executive Board. In this key position, you will lead and develop the entire marketing department of Swissmilk. Together with your experienced leadership team and around 50 employees, you will ensure a strong positioning of Swiss milk and dairy products and consistently develop the existing marketing activities further. You combine brand management, campaigning, content, digital channels, live communication, as well as the topics of sustainability, health & enjoyment into an effective overall appearance and ensure that the different target groups are reached with the right messages via the relevant channels. You recognize market and consumer trends, set the right strategic priorities, and ensure effective use of resources. In the future, the presence of Swiss milk and dairy products at the Point of Sale should also be particularly strengthened. Together with industry actors and retail, you will develop corresponding approaches and integrate them meaningfully into the existing marketing mix. At the same time, you are responsible for the relevant budgets and maintain a close exchange with the various stakeholders of the Swiss dairy industry. As a member of the four-person Executive Board, you will actively shape the further development of the SMP and bring the view of the market and female and male consumers into the corporate management. If suitable, there is also the possibility to take on additional responsibility as Co-CEO of the SMP. We are looking for a convincing leadership personality with higher education in marketing, business administration, or a comparable field of study, as well as several years of leadership and marketing experience. Sound experience in the food industry and affinity for Swiss agriculture is mandatory for this position. You have a convincing track record in brand management, think strategically and entrepreneurially, and act pragmatically. With your communicative and winning manner, you lead at eye level, provide orientation, and manage to inspire people for common goals. Very good German and French skills are mandatory.
