About the role
For our client, a state actor, we are looking for a person comfortable with reading maps to assist them as part of a restructuring of their systems. As a Geomatician, you will play a key role in the migration and reliability of territorial data. You will work autonomously on interconnected projects within a team of passionate experts.
You will be responsible for sorting and verifying geomatics data. This is a great opportunity for a rigorous and motivated person. Additionally, partial teleworking is possible after 3 months!

We offer We offer a 6-month renewable full-time mission. You will benefit from a stable working environment, classic office hours and an ideal location 10 minutes from the Sion train station.
Tasks
Control the consistency between paper plans and digital databases
Process and analyze geographic data
Detect, analyze and correct data errors
Integrate data relating to natural hazards into the GIS
Ensure occasional contact with partner municipalities
Perform administrative follow-up, filing and documentation
We are looking for
Bachelor or Master in geography, environment or equivalent completed
Advanced mastery of French
Excellent ability to read geographic maps
An asset if you possess
Good knowledge of German
Knowledge of AFA or ArcMap tools
Academic training in Geography or in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
General mastery of standard GIS tools
