Buyer The position focuses on the operational and strategic procurement of defined raw materials for ELANTAS Europe AG, as well as independent scheduling to ensure an economical and timely material supply. Procurement of raw materials taking into account costs, quality, availability, and security of supply including downstream tasks such as confirmation entry/control, invoice verification, transport organization, and import customs clearance. Ensuring timely material availability through requirements planning, inventory monitoring, and independent scheduling taking into account inventory targets and production requirements. Sound understanding of raw material markets, price developments, and procurement risks. Ability to analyze market trends and derive suitable procurement measures from them. Confident handling of key figures, demand forecasts, cost analyses, and reporting instruments. Strong understanding of economic contexts and cost optimization. Price, contract, and condition negotiations as well as the establishment and further development of sustainable supplier relationships on a national and international level.
