Your next career step in legal consulting at BDO

Our legal consulting team is looking for you to strengthen our team of 9 people in Central Switzerland, at the Steinhausen and Lucerne sites!
As a legal advisor with an entrepreneurial spirit, you will actively contribute to the strategic development of legal consulting, particularly at the Steinhausen site. Furthermore, you will identify cross-selling potentials across the entire BDO service portfolio and exploit them in a targeted manner. You are open, accessible, and convince with strong social competence and a team spirit. Thanks to your flexibility as well as your solution- and needs-oriented approach, you always find suitable answers for our diverse clientele, particularly in Steinhausen. Excellent knowledge of English and ideally an existing network complete your profile.

Legal Advisor (h/f/d) 80-100% Workplace: Steinhausen and Lucerne #

What you accomplish

• Legal support and advice for companies with an emphasis on commercial law as well as legal compliance of companies
• Active development and structuring of the consulting offer, particularly at the Steinhausen site
• Proactive identification and implementation of needs in consulting, taxation, and audit (cross-selling) through targeted networking of our (inter)national clientele with the vast BDO service portfolio
• Management of high-level interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with our experts in law, taxation, fiduciary, audit, and business services - your interface competence makes you a key player in complex challenges
• Integration and development of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in legal consulting as well as development and establishment of innovative solutions
• Autonomous acquisition and management of demanding mandates, particularly in an international context, with responsibility for the development of the business sector and the economic success of BDO

What allows you to succeed

• Entrepreneurial, structured, and responsible personality with strong project management competence, a spirit of innovation, and great personal initiative
• Pronounced strategic customer orientation and pleasure in collaborating commercially with the different divisions of BDO
• Lawyer's license from a Swiss canton, ideally complemented by another degree (LL.M, MBA, CAS or similar, preferably in connection with legal compliance or commercial law)
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in an international law firm, a consulting company, or the legal department of a group
• Competence in the field of Legal Tech & Digital Legal Transformation: experience in the design, implementation, and management of Legal Tech projects (including AI & automation)
• Perfect mastery of German and English at C2+/mother tongue level as well as other languages being an asset (e.g., French, Italian)
