Berne-Ittigen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-80% Spokesperson Berne-Ittigen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-80% What you can contribute Handle requests from media professionals, prepare statements, provide information, write media releases, as well as prepare, organize and host media events Conduct research in order to write documentation and articles or to rework such texts Write speeches for the Director of the OFEV and accompany her during her interventions Lead and coordinate crisis communication as well as projects in the field of communication Ensure coordination with federal departments and offices Prepare publications for social networks What makes you unique Degree from a higher education institution (Master's) or equivalent training in the field of media or communication Several years of experience in writing and journalism, very good knowledge of the Swiss political system and, ideally, also of the federal administration In-depth knowledge of the Swiss media system, network of relations in the field of Swiss environmental journalism, mastery of different communication channels (communication adapted to the target audience) Keen sensitivity to political communication Resilience to significant workloads, sense of responsibility, negotiating talent and ability for an overview Good active knowledge of at least a second official language, passive knowledge of a third official language and good knowledge of English In a few words You transmit high-quality information and messages, at the appropriate time, on themes related to the environment to the dynamic world of media. Through your writing ease and your keen sense of political communication, you help the management of the OFEV and the specialists to present the multiple themes handled by the OFEV in a comprehensible and media-adapted manner.
