About the role ##

As part of the Switzerland Market Access organization, this role leads the execution of market access strategies at country and key-account level, ensuring sustainable, value-based access to Takeda-s portfolio. The position is predominantly field-based, with nationwide responsibility and a stronger focus on the German-speaking region.

The role covers the full Takeda portfolio, including Immunoglobulins, priority brands, and established products.

  • Translates franchise and portfolio priorities into actionable market access strategies, value stories, and account plans.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with payers, healthcare authorities, regulators, hospitals, health insurers, buying groups, and industry associations.
  • Develops a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and uses insights to inform portfolio decisions and engagement strategies.
  • Anticipates access barriers and addresses reimbursement, policy, funding, and cost-containment challenges.
  • Leads negotiations, tenders, contracting activities, and other key access processes with hospitals and buying groups, in partnership with the Market Access Lead.
  • Supports the implementation of pricing models and access pathways under Article 71 KVV.
  • Acts as a trusted point of contact for key decision-makers and strengthens Takeda-s reputation across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Drives cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Public Affairs, and regional and global teams to deliver integrated -One Takeda- solutions.
  • Translates field and stakeholder insights into strategic recommendations that optimize patient access and portfolio value.
  • Prioritizes resources and opportunities across accounts and regions, monitors execution, and delivers measurable results.
  • Contributes to portfolio and lifecycle management activities, including selected tender negotiations.
  • Ensures all activities comply with Takeda policies, ethical standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Requirements ##

  • Bachelor-s or master-s degree in life sciences, health economics, business, or a related field.
  • More than two years of experience in market access, pricing, and reimbursement.
  • Strong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system, including reimbursement pathways, funding mechanisms, tariff structures, and care delivery models.
  • Knowledge of HTA, HEOR, payer decision-making, and healthcare policy.
  • Experience with tendering, contracting, and negotiations involving Swiss hospitals or healthcare buying groups is strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to build effective networks, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Fluency in German and English, written and spoken, is required; professional proficiency in French is also required.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make timely decisions, manage risk, and balance patient, business, reputation, and compliance priorities.

Desirable requirements ##

  • Experience implementing access under Article 71 KVV.
  • Experience with Immunoglobulins, priority brands, or established products.
  • Experience developing nationwide market access or key-account strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, data analytics, and AI applications in market access.

CHF132,000.00 - CHF181,500.00
