Sub-project Manager: Track Construction Management Lötschberg Base Tunnel

You are where Switzerland is writing railway history: While trains roll reliably every day in the Lötschberg Base Tunnel, you drive the construction of the second tube forward -- a masterpiece under full load. In the meantime, the Engstlige Tunnel is growing, which will make Alpine traffic even more efficient in the future. Your commitment ensures strong, storm-proof connections for people and goods and gives power to sustainable mobility.

What awaits you:

• Responsibility for the quality, deadline, and cost-compliant execution of the assigned sub-projects
• Leading the local site managers and maintaining a partnership-based cooperation with the companies
• Ensuring the smooth transition from planning to execution
• Active steering of the project progress and ensuring transparent reporting
• Shaping demanding construction work under ongoing railway operations and contributing to the safe realization of one of Switzerland's most significant infrastructure projects

What you bring with you:

• Degree as a Civil Engineer FH or ETH
• Several years of experience in track construction management or site management of complex infrastructure, tunnel, and railway construction projects
• Experience in managing demanding interfaces and ideally in construction under operation
• Convincing communication and negotiation skills
• Independent, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial way of working as well as very good German skills
