La fromagerie de démonstration d'Appenzell is the showcase and ambassador for the Appenzeller® cheese brand and thus constitutes the spicy destination for excursions in the Appenzell region. The busy daytime tourist activity with restaurant, shop and interactive exhibition on cheesemaking welcomes visitors from all over the world 364 days a year.

To strengthen our family team, we are looking for a motivated and committed person.

Your missions

• Mainly during the high season from April/May to October
• Interventions during the lunch service
• Working hours approximately from 11:00 to 14:00/15:00 (depending on the influx / needs)
• Occasionally during evening events
• Interventions during the week as well as on weekends
• Service in the à la carte section as well as during banquets and group events

Your tasks:

• Support for our service team during the lunch service and weekends
• Warm and professional welcome of our customers
• Table advice as well as active sale of our offers
• Help with restocking, preparation and cleaning
• Ensuring a spicy and relaxed customer experience

What you bring:

• Pleasure in contact with customers and in gastronomy
• Friendly, neat and confident attitude
• Team spirit as well as ability to work independently
• Experience in service an asset, but not mandatory
• Knowledge in German, English a plus
