• 10 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Brunnen Construction Manager (100 %) The municipality of Ingenbohl is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne with a unique view of the lake as well as the surrounding mountains, offering a high quality of life to its 9'500 inhabitants. Following the retirement of the current holder, we are looking for a committed, responsible and service-oriented person for the position of Construction Manager (100 %) starting 1 January 2027 or by agreement. What you will accomplish with us • Management and development of the construction sector as a member of the management • Personnel and technical management of the construction, spatial planning, infrastructure, properties, technical service and indoor pool domains • Ensuring law-compliant, service-oriented and efficient processing of building permit and construction police procedures • Planning, steering and implementation of construction, civil engineering and development projects • Responsibility for the municipal planning of spatial planning and infrastructure • Strategic management and development of municipal properties and facilities • Advising the municipal council as well as close collaboration with political authorities, commissions and external specialized services • Responsibility for the budget, investment planning and control of the sector • Preparation of decision bases and technical recommendations for the municipal council • Promotion of intersectoral collaboration within the municipal administration What you bring • University or specialized university degree in spatial planning, civil engineering, architecture, environmental sciences, real estate management or a comparable field • Several years of professional and management experience in the municipal field of construction, planning or infrastructure • In-depth knowledge of construction, planning and administrative law as well as public procurement • Proven experience in managing demanding projects • Understanding of political processes as well as experience collaborating with authorities, commissions and other stakeholders • Strong skills in leadership, communication and social relations • Ability for strategic thinking, negotiation skills and ability to assert oneself • Autonomous, solution-oriented and service-oriented way of working • Stress resistance as well as the ability to reconcile diverse interests in a balanced manner • Excellent oral and written expression in German What awaits you with us As construction manager, you occupy a key function in our municipality and ensure, in collaboration with the political authorities, the success of construction, infrastructure and development projects.
