A position of
Financial Analyst (M/F) (80% to 100%)
is to be filled within the Bureau de la comptabilité générale of the Université de Neuchâtel.
Activities
As a financial analyst, you are at the heart of strategic accounting analysis. You manage analytical accounting according to OFS directives and participate in budget preparation, ensuring rigorous monitoring through monthly projections for the Rectorat.
You are responsible for preparing financial statistics for the entire financial department, including those related to research projects. You ensure the monitoring of investments, depreciation, and inventories of fixed assets. As a partner to the department management, you provide a detailed vision of the figures to support financial reflections. You ensure the maintenance of the department's spreadsheets and are its technical expert.
You participate in the closing of accounts and their consolidation as well as in various operations at the request of your hierarchy.
You are involved in the payment release process and are familiar with the related controls as well as the functioning of an internal control system.
Desired Profile
You hold a CFC as a commercial employee or a title deemed equivalent and have very good knowledge of accounting. You can demonstrate at least three years of experience in the field. Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel is indispensable; you are used to working on complex files (Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, macros, etc.). Mastery of the VBA language is an asset.
You are a versatile person and have a good capacity for managing multiple files. You know how to work both in a team and with full autonomy, with a good spirit of initiative. Understanding German is an asset.
