Hotel Technician – Maintenance & Upkeep

YOUR ROLE:

A true guarantor of the smooth technical operation of the establishment, you ensure the daily maintenance, upkeep, and safety of the hotel's facilities.

You intervene preventively and correctively in order to guarantee our clients a comfortable, functional, and pleasant environment. Versatile and autonomous, you are able to quickly identify problems and find effective solutions, while knowing how to call upon specialized companies when necessary.
Your missions

MAINTENANCE AND TECHNICAL INTERVENTIONS

• Ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of the establishment
• Perform routine repairs in rooms, common areas, and technical rooms
• Intervene on small plumbing, electrical, locksmithing, painting, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks
• Regularly control the proper functioning of equipment and installations
• Identify malfunctions and implement suitable solutions
• Perform regular technical rounds throughout the entire establishment

UPKEEP OF THE ESTABLISHMENT AND EXTERIORS

• Ensure the general good condition of rooms, common areas, technical rooms, and exteriors
• Ensure the routine maintenance of the establishment's exteriors: garden, terrace, outdoor furniture, hotel surroundings, etc.
• Ensure the cleanliness, good condition, and general presentation of outdoor spaces
• Identify potential needs for repair, maintenance, or improvement
• Participate in seasonal work and the preparation of outdoor spaces according to needs

MANAGEMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDERS AND TECHNICAL APPOINTMENTS

• Identify intervention needs requiring the involvement of an external service provider
• Directly make appointments with the relevant companies and providers
• Organize and schedule technical interventions
• Be present during interventions when necessary
• Ensure the follow-up of work and control its proper completion
• Report any persistent problems, major works, or investment needs to management
• Maintain good relations with the various providers of the establishment

SAFETY AND PREVENTION

• Participate in compliance with the establishment's safety standards
• Regularly control installations and equipment
• Immediately report any situation presenting a risk to clients or collaborators
• Participate in the follow-up of regulatory controls and interventions
• Ensure the proper functioning of safety equipment

MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION

• Maintain a sufficient stock of material and parts necessary for routine interventions
• Organize and maintain clean and tidy technical rooms
• Keep the follow-up of interventions and maintenance operations up to date
• Anticipate maintenance needs and propose suitable solutions
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the establishment's installations and equipment

YOUR PROFILE:

• Training or experience in a technical field, maintenance, or construction
• Experience in a hotel establishment or a similar environment, an asset
• Good practical knowledge in electricity, plumbing, and general maintenance
• Great versatility and ability to intervene on different types of problems
• Autonomy, rigor, and sense of responsibility
• Practical spirit and ability to quickly find solutions
• Sense of organization and priorities
• Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
• Good interpersonal skills and ease of communication with teams and providers
• Driver's license
• Proficiency in French; other languages, a plus

POSITION SPECIFICS:
This position requires great technical versatility, autonomy, and a true sense of responsibility. You are a hands-on person, capable of managing both small daily repairs as well as the maintenance of exteriors and the follow-up of external service provider interventions.
