Participate in one of the largest datacenter projects in Switzerland.
Overall responsibility as the client representative for the development and realization of a large-scale strategic datacenter project - covering multiple construction zones, energy infrastructure, and central site infrastructure, up to a planned datacenter capacity of approximately 300 MW and an investment volume of several billions.

Your area of responsibility ##

• Overall responsibility for the management and coordination of the global project across all construction sites as well as infrastructure and energy projects
• Ensure global project objectives in terms of costs, deadlines, quality, safety, permits, risks, and stakeholder requirements
• Direction and coordination of the project managers responsible for Plot A, Plot B, Plot C, and Plot Energie
• Ensure global integrated schedule planning as well as the management of dependencies and critical milestones between sub-projects
• Management of interfaces between project development, engineering, construction, procurement, finance, legal, operations, and commissioning, as well as with external partners and authorities
• Ensure and continuously develop unified project governance, a decision-making structure, project steering, and a reporting system

Monitoring of global project costs and forecasts as well as management of essential allocations, changes, and financial risks of the project

• Management of global project risks, escalations, and conflicts of objectives as well as making critical decisions for the project
• Development of solid decision bases and management reports for management, the CEO, the board of directors, and the owners
• Ensure clear responsibilities, competencies, and decision-making paths within the global project organization
• Representation of the client's interests to planners, general contractors, suppliers, energy providers, authorities, and other strategic partners
• Ensure consistent and audience-appropriate communication towards management, owners, authorities, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure a structured transfer of individual sub-projects to commissioning, operations, and client fit-out

Your skills ##

• Several years of experience in the overall management and realization of large, complex projects in a high range of hundreds of millions to billions, preferably in the fields of datacenters, industry, energy, or infrastructure
• Proven experience as a client representative, global project manager, program director, or in a similar project management function
• Experience in directing and managing several parallel sub-projects as well as interdisciplinary project teams
• Strong skills in project management as well as in the management of costs, deadlines, risks, contracts, and changes
• Experience collaborating with management, the board of directors, owners, authorities, and strategic project partners
• Pronounced entrepreneurial spirit as well as a high capacity for decision-making, leadership, and persuasion
• Ability to structure complex contexts, define priorities, and develop solid decision bases for management
