PROJECT MANAGER (m/f/d) ##

Your main missions ##

As a Project Manager, you assume overall responsibility for customer projects - from the acquisition and takeover of the project to the handover of the validated project to series production. You are the central interface between customers, Key Account Management, internal project teams, the series production plant, as well as external partners and suppliers. Thanks to your structured and solution-oriented working method, you ensure that the technical, qualitative, temporal, and economic objectives of the project are met.

• From demand to project: You support the Key Account Manager from the acquisition phase regarding feasibility, risk analysis, product calculation, investment planning, and project planning, and participate in customer presentations as part of the offer phase.
• Manage projects holistically: After the handover of the project, you assume overall responsibility and steer the project according to the Adval Tech project management system.
• Link people and skills: You coordinate the collaboration between customers, Key Account Management, internal project teams, series production, as well as external partners and suppliers.
• Develop products together: You coordinate the design and development of products in collaboration with internal and external partners and suppliers, and you ensure that the final product design corresponds to the customer specifications as well as all technical and qualitative requirements.
• Keep the schedule in view: You steer the progress of the project, secure customer milestones, and ensure that internal project objectives are met reliably.
• Actively manage changes: You evaluate product and process modifications in terms of technical, temporal, and economic impact.
• Ensure profitability: You keep an eye on the product calculation, the project budget, and investments, and coordinate impacts with Key Account Management and project control.
• Drive success in series: You accompany the project until successful validation and the structured handover of the project to the series production plant.

Your profile ##

You combine technical understanding, project management, and customer orientation, while maintaining an overview even in complex projects.

• Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, industrial management, project management, or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, including at least 2 years in comparable product development
• Experience with metal products from stamping and forming processes and/or plastic products from injection processes
• In-depth knowledge in quality management, FMEA, APQP and validation processes as well as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems
• Very good skills in English, both spoken and written; other languages are an asset
• Mastery of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, as well as project management tools like MS Project/Gantt
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, confidence, and professionalism in relations with customers and partners
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as the ability to understand customer needs and requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Autonomous, reliable, and structured with a high awareness of quality
• Team-oriented personality with pleasure in collaborating in a cross-functional and international manner
