Specialist in Social Pedagogical Family Support

Support and encounters form important components of everyday life. Support persons create a certain security, encounters provide us with a sense of well-being. We at SAH Schaffhausen offer system- and everyday-oriented assistance for families and people in multiple-stress situations through social pedagogical family support.

Your main tasks ###

• Social pedagogical support of families in their home environment
• Promotion and safeguarding of child welfare
• Strengthening the parenting and everyday competencies of parents
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating support and assistance goals
• Crisis intervention and support in stressful family situations
• Systemic work with the entire family system
• Cooperation with legal guardians, social services, schools, specialist agencies, and other involved persons
• Maintaining professional documentation as well as creating reports
• Participation in team meetings, case discussions, supervisions, and further training

Your profile ###

• Completed studies in Social Pedagogy HF/FH, Social Work FH/HF or comparable recognized training with professional experience in child, youth, or family assistance
• Experience in outreach work and/or social pedagogical family support is an advantage
• Systemic way of thinking and working
• High level of independence, ability to reflect, and resilience
• Good administrative and written skills
• Flexible working hours, sometimes also in the evening
• Driver's license category B and own vehicle is an advantage
• Impeccable reputation and willingness to provide the required criminal record extracts according to cantonal specifications.
