These tasks will inspire you

Operational management of daily business

• Together with another team leader, you are responsible for the daily business of the Nebikon operating center.
• Steering of daily transport, deployment, and route planning including personnel and vehicle disposition
• Ensuring optimal capacity utilization and on-time deliveries
• Responsibility for decisions and escalation management in daily business leadership
• Technical management of disposition
• Personnel and disciplinary responsibility for dispatchers and drivers
• Targeted coaching as well as promotion and further development of employees, processes & structures
• Continuous optimization of processes, structures, and interfaces in cooperation with other areas
• Standardization of workflows and introduction of new working methods
• Responsibility for resource planning and its ongoing further development
• Management of working hours and ARV regulations as well as responsibility for absence management
• Ongoing review of operational goal achievement and consistent implementation of decided measures

Customers & Service Quality

• Support of customers and partners with high quality and service requirements
• Joint further development of services with the customers
• Ensuring high delivery quality, punctuality, and productivity
• Guaranteeing all quality, safety, and compliance requirements in the transport sector

Communication & Cooperation

• Daily coordination with transshipment and personnel planning
• Ensuring the flow of information within disposition
• Active participation in meetings
• Ongoing exchange with the operations management and other operating centers

We look forward to this profile

Technical Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in disposition as well as in a leadership function in the transport, forwarding, or logistics environment
• Further training in the transport and logistics sector, for example as a federally certified Operations Manager Transport and Logistics or a comparable qualification
• Strong leadership competence and experience in leading teams
• Sound knowledge in disposition, transport control, as well as capacity and resource management
• Experience in the restructuring of transport companies is an advantage
• Willingness to question and further develop existing structures
• Good network in the transport industry
• Good PC user skills, especially in Microsoft Office, as well as experience with disposition systems
• French language skills are an advantage
