Casa Sant’Agnese is a small, family-like house with eight sisters with openness to guests. It is located above Muralto / Locarno. It is an external location of KlosterIngenbohl and part of an international community of sisters. With great commitment and high mindfulness, the housekeeping team ensures the well-being of the religious sisters as well as the guests in this special, quiet environment. To complement our team, we are looking for a responsible, independent and motivated personality as of immediately or by arrangement as:

Tasks
Preparation of varied dishes in the hot and cold kitchen for our small community of sisters as well as guests
Professional production and preparation of special food forms and diets
Creation of balanced menu plans
Prudent purchasing (ecologically and economically) of all food and non-food items used in the kitchen
Goods receipt: Checking delivery quantities and quality, HACCP guidelines, temperatures, weights and the corresponding correct storage
Control of stock levels
Cleaning and maintenance of the entire kitchen area taking into account safety and hygiene regulations as well as cleaning plans
Guiding and supporting the second cook in all matters of the kitchen
Expectations
Several years of experience in the kitchen or equivalent training / further education
Openness, teamwork, reliability and trustworthiness
Joy and understanding in dealing with the religious women, because you are working in your home
Good Italian and German skills
Clean and exact way of working
Flexibility and willingness to work split shifts as well as on weekends
