Waterproofer

The employer is looking for a:

Construction technical worker / Waterproofer / Traveler (reported profession)

Tasks:

• preparation of substrates and preparation of the intended installation system
• installation of bituminous and synthetic membranes (PVC, TPO, EPDM)
• hot air welding of membranes and use of the flame torch
• creation of upturns, joints and construction details, ensuring the continuity of the coating
• execution of leak tests and quality control of welds
• management of hot works, correctly adopting the prescribed fire protection measures
• work at heights in compliance with fall protection safety procedures
• reporting any anomalies, risks or dangerous situations to the supervisor

Requirements:

• experience in the installation of waterproofing and bituminous and synthetic membranes
• knowledge of single-layer/double-layer installation techniques, flame, adhered, ballasted and mechanical fastening
• ability to prepare and treat substrates (primers, vapor barriers, etc.)
• good mastery of hot air welding, preferably with experience using Leister type machines
• knowledge of safety procedures for work at heights and hot works, of fall protection PPE and of fire protection measures
• driving license cat.B
• driving license cat.C constitutes a preferential qualification
• precision, reliability and attention to safety at work
