Job Description
As Head of the Regional Governance Unit for Information Security and Data Protection Switzerland, you are part of our global governance network of experts on the topic of information security and data protection. You have a holistic overview of the general and specific data protection legal requirements of our organization, in particular regarding the new Data Protection Act of Switzerland and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Among others, the following tasks are part of your position:
You assume the role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the Bosch Group in Switzerland.
You update and maintain the regional policies for information security and data protection. In doing so, you attentively monitor business changes and legislative innovations, especially with regard to the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DSV).
You standardize and define the daily governance processes, create central management templates, and pass on professional data protection legal guidelines to the responsible teams.
You organize and conduct internal information security and data protection audits, monitor corrective measures, and ensure the complete implementation of corrective measures as well as the closure of risks.
You are responsible for the introduction and implementation of target-group-oriented awareness and training concepts within the Bosch Group, focusing on the requirements of Swiss data protection.
You actively help shape the future of our work processes by defining, documenting, and successfully implementing processes. In doing so, you always pay attention to the integration of privacy-friendly settings ("Privacy by Design" and "Privacy by Default") according to DSG.
The creation and maintenance of all relevant data protection legal documentation is also part of your area of responsibility.
You exchange ideas with the global DPO team of the Bosch Group and ensure that local legislations are complied with internationally during cooperation.
Qualifications
Education: completed university degree in the field of law or a comparable course of study with a specialization in Swiss data protection law, knowledge of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and several years of experience in the field of information security and data protection
Personality and working style: team player, confident and friendly appearance, independent way of working, analytical thinking skills, high solution and customer orientation, willingness to travel
Experience and know-how: good IT skills (especially MS Office), high IT affinity, ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification, CISSP certification is an advantage
Languages: good German and English skills are a must, [unclear] is an advantage
