Your tasks

You manage the departments (production, AVOR) at the Sulgen site for Belimed AG.

Ensuring the processing and timely delivery of pressure chambers is part of your responsibilities.

You work on the continuous reduction of production costs while taking into account compliance with medical directives and pressure equipment. Furthermore, you collaborate internationally with departments such as engineering, finance, and regulatory affairs.

Main tasks

• Management of operational departments: production, AVOR at the Sulgen site
• Continuous control and adjustment of production capacities according to customer demands
• Initiation and control of continuous improvement projects in collaboration with design and development
• Ensuring quality standards as a premium manufacturer
• Compliance with medical directives and pressure equipment in collaboration with the regulatory department
• Close collaboration within the framework of production and technology synergies
• Participation in the operations meeting with operations managers from other sites
• Monitoring the operations KPI dashboard for Sulgen and measuring operations according to the Total Cost of Ownership approach (cost-quality-availability-stock) in collaboration with finance

Your profile

• Basic technical training or completed apprenticeship in an industrial production company
• Engineering degree or higher technical training, ideally with a specialization in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or production management
• Several years of experience in management within a production environment
• In-depth experience in the areas of production, production planning, and/or work preparation (AVOR)
• Proven experience in optimizing and developing production processes as well as in implementing improvement measures
• Good knowledge and practical experience in welding
• Asset: knowledge in business management, particularly in cost calculation, as well as experience in the manufacture of pressure equipment
• Assured mastery of German / good knowledge of English (min. B2)
• Strong sense of organization as well as the ability to perform administrative tasks efficiently, reliably, and conscientiously
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to define priorities well as well as to advance urgent matters in a consistent and rapid manner
• Determined and solution-oriented personality with excellent communication skills at different hierarchical and functional levels
• High stress resistance, commitment, and adaptability in a dynamic and demanding production environment
• Marked ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary manner, particularly at the interfaces between manufacturing, assembly, and engineering
• Convincing through a structured, reliable, and goal-oriented way of working and systematically aligns decisions and measures with the strategic objectives of the company
• Combines a practical mentality with strategic thinking and ensures a consistent and sustainable implementation of defined objectives
