Medical Practice Assistant (MPA)

The University Clinic for Hematology and Hematological Central Laboratory operates in the overall field of hematology. We conduct hematological laboratory diagnostics and primarily care for outpatient as well as hospitalized patients with hematological diseases.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, warm, and well-organized personality as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA).

• Organization and coordination of consultations as well as efficient appointment scheduling
• Ensuring a smooth workflow of the outpatient hospital operations
• Support of the medical team in daily organizational and administrative tasks
• Management and maintenance of electronic patient files as well as careful documentation
• General administrative tasks, especially billing, correspondence, and organization
• Telephone support and coordination of requests from our patients and referrers
• Close cooperation with the medical team as well as other interprofessional areas

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the healthcare sector desirable
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing, good oral French skills an advantage
• Joy in direct contact with patients and a strong understanding of service
• Friendly, empathetic, and professional appearance
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working
• Organizational talent as well as joy in varied tasks
• Teamwork ability, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
• Confident handling of common PC and MS Office applications
