Your tasks

• Direction of the Integration & Case Management sector with approximately 50 employees and interns on personal, organizational, professional, and financial levels;
• Active participation in the development of the asylum and refugee field in the canton of Zug, particularly on specialized issues, processes, and knowledge management;
• Service-oriented and economically sound direction of the sector within the framework of legal requirements;
• Responsibility for personal assistance (social counseling) and lawful implementation of economic social assistance in collaboration with team leaders and specialists;
• Promotion of the professional integration of refugees and development of innovative approaches for the implementation of effective concepts;
• Planning, steering, and monitoring of business operations as well as quality assurance;
• Implementation and active participation in the design of the Cantonal Integration Program (PCI) in the field of asylum and refugees;
• Responsibility for the promotion of social integration including the coordination of volunteers;
• Maintaining a partnership-based exchange and collaboration within the office and with external partners, both in the canton of Zug and at the national level.

Your profile

• University degree in social work, social sciences, law, or comparable qualification;
• Solid experience in multi-level management;
• Several years of experience in the field of asylum and refugees;
• Knowledge of legal social assistance (SKOS directives);
• Foreign language skills an asset;
• Experience in public administration, project management skills, and knowledge in the promotion and implementation of innovative solutions;
• Strong planning and organizational skills as well as experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and networking.

Your working environment

As Head of Integration & Case Management, you occupy a key function in the field of asylum and refugees in the canton of Zug. You shape and develop integration strategies as well as the implementation of legal social assistance. You contribute actively to linguistic, professional, and social integration. The position is attached to the Social Services Asylum (SDA) department of the Cantonal Office of Social Affairs, which is responsible for and designs the entire asylum and refugee field in the canton of Zug. You will work here in a dynamic environment that offers space for your ideas and skills.
