Finance and Controlling Specialist

In ten sales branches in German-speaking Switzerland, two sales branches in French-speaking Switzerland and one branch in Ticino, we offer our demanding clientele the best products and brands, expert advice and high-quality service.

What you will do with us:

• Management of current accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
• Preparation and processing of VAT returns
• Independent preparation and participation in interim and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
• Preparation of tax returns for legal entities
• Implementation of target-actual comparisons and business analyses
• Operative postings and maintenance of financial data in Microsoft D365
• Preparation of reporting for GL / VR
• Support in the further development of controlling instruments
• General administrative activities to relieve the Head of HR and Finance

Your backpack is packed:

• Completed commercial basic training (EFZ) in the field of fiduciary or finance
• Further education or ongoing training in the finance sector (e.g., accounting clerk, federal diploma)
• Professional experience in accounting and/or controlling
• Proficiency in closing according to OR as well as knowledge of Swiss tax law for legal entities
• Knowledge of inventory valuation or experience in a retail company is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft 365 is an advantage
• Analytical thinking skills, structured and independent way of working
• High IT affinity and interest in digital work processes
• Teamwork skills, commitment and loyalty
