At our location in Lausen, we are looking for a reliable Solution Architect BESS / Battery Energy Storage Systems (m/f/d) Workload: 100% Start: immediately or by arrangement Area: Power grid construction & Energy storage BESS Shape the energy supply of tomorrow with us As a BESS Solution Architect, you are the technical authority for the design and integration of our large battery storage projects. You combine hardware components, software control (EMS), and grid connection into future-proof and high-performance energy storage solutions. Your main tasks: Conception and design of AC- and DC-coupled BESS total systems in the (MW/MWh range) including thermal concepts Technical selection and integration of battery racks (BMS), inverters (PCS), transformers, and control systems Definition of software architecture and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3) as well as integration of EMS, SCADA, and cloud platforms Ensuring compliance with local grid connection rules (Grid Codes), technical coordination with grid operators Creation of technical specifications for tenders and offers and consulting sales, project development, and EPC Your profile: Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification Sound professional experience in the planning, design, or commissioning of BESS large-scale projects or PV large-scale plants Deep understanding of power electronics, medium and high voltage technology as well as battery chemistry and degradation models Good knowledge of network technology, cybersecurity, and programmable logic controllers (PLC/PPC) Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing What awaits you: A responsible position in a future-oriented growth industry Flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths An attractive salary package including bonuses Flexible working hours and home office possibilities Further training opportunities in the area of New Energy Further information about our benefits can be found on our website ( ).
