The human medicine studies at the University of Fribourg train students both theoretically and clinically-practically and are offered in bilingualism -- in German and French. Over the three years of study, around 400 students are trained each year at the bachelor level and 120 at the master level. The studies prepare for the federal examination in human medicine and are based on the national competence framework PROFILES. The scientific collaborator is integrated into the Med-Office of the Medicine Section and works for the two branches. He or she works under the responsibility of the presidents of the study commissions for the Bachelor and Master in human medicine and in close collaboration with the coordinators of the two branches.
