• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the maintenance team with three employees
• Ensuring high machine and plant availability as well as development and maintenance of preventive maintenance plans
• Further development of the maintenance strategy as well as definition of maintenance standards
• Establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of occupational safety throughout the entire company
• Planning and further development of the safety concept
• Carrying out hazard assessments, risk assessments, and accident analyses as well as derivation and implementation of suitable measures
• Ensuring and conducting training and instructions on occupational safety
• Responsibility for the internal fire protection and emergency organization
• Review and co-design of workplaces, work equipment, and personal protective equipment
• Advising management, supervisors, and employees on all matters of occupational safety and health protection
• Planning and accompaniment of external audits as well as conducting safety inspections

Our client requests

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or comparable training in an industrial environment
• Several years of experience as a maintenance manager and safety officer
• Completed further training in the field of occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) mandatory; federal diploma as a specialist ASGS is a plus
• Higher education in the field of maintenance is an advantage
• Very good technical understanding and a strong understanding of production processes
• Knowledge of EKAS guidelines, VKF regulations, and labor law
• Independent way of working, high willingness to take responsibility, and assertiveness
• Confident appearance as well as sovereign communication on all levels
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing, English skills as well as other languages are an advantage
• Affinity for digital processes as well as very good PC skills
