Commit yourself with us to the vision of a solidary society, as Head of Asylum Center 100 % (m/f/d) Caritas Schweiz has been managing asylum centers for families, individuals and unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (MNA) at several locations in the Canton of Zurich since March 2024 on behalf of the Cantonal Social Welfare Office (KSA). Due to a replacement, we are looking for a committed and responsible center management for an MNA center. Your tasks * Implementation of the service mandate of the Cantonal Social Welfare Office Zurich (KSA) on the basis of the individual contract of the location and framework contract for MNA residential groups as well as other regulations * Responsibility for the accommodation, care, integration and safety of the minor asylum seekers (MNA) * Overall responsibility for personnel planning, personnel management and personnel development * Financial responsibility for budgets and cost centers as well as for administrative processes and economic use of resources * Responsibility for the quality of care, order processing and documentation as well as for the implementation of work processes and structural adjustments * Responsibility for the level-appropriate passing on of information and ensuring internal as well as external communication * Cooperation with the canton, the guardianship and other partnerships, central specialist department management and other MNA locations Our requirements * University or technical college degree in the social sector / business administration or comparable * Further training in business administration and management of NPOs * Several years of social pedagogical work experience in the care of MNA as well as specialist knowledge in the asylum and migration sector * Proven personnel management experience * Experience in cooperation with authorities and partnerships * Initiative, independence, assertiveness and decisiveness * High resilience and ability to work under pressure * Entrepreneurial and networked thinking and acting * Strong communication skills and very good German skills * Intercultural competences * Conflict intervention competences Workplace: Canton Zurich Start date: By arrangement Caritas offers attractive employment conditions and an open working atmosphere at the pulse of social issues.
