Work on our children's residential group Ammonit is intensive, demanding, and not always predictable. We accompany children and adolescents with severe cognitive and partly physical impairments, who sometimes show very strongly challenging behavior. Situations can change within a very short time. What was just calm can suddenly demand your full attention. This requires high presence, patience, resilience, clear action, and a professional attitude, even when it becomes difficult. Not every person can and wants to do this work. It requires expertise, inner stability, and the ability to remain calm, take responsibility, and convey security even in very challenging situations. What you can look forward to

• You lead a team of 8 employees in technical, organizational, and personnel aspects
• You undertake tasks in the direct care and accompaniment of children and adolescents with severe cognitive and/or physical impairments as well as strongly challenging behavior
• You are responsible for the practical training of an apprentice FaBe MmB as well as a social pedagogue in training
• You are responsible for the further development of the employees
• You are the interface for the flow of information between department management and the team and ensure cooperation with the internal interfaces
• You maintain contact and cooperation with parents and/or legal representatives

How you convince

• Completed training as a social pedagogue or nursing specialist HF with a socio-pedagogical flair
• Profound experience in working with people with disabilities
• Experience in leading a smaller team
• High personal and professional resilience as well as the ability to remain calm and capable of action even in intensive situations
• Patience, clarity, and an appreciative, professional attitude in dealing with strongly challenging behavior
• Joy in interdisciplinary cooperation and in taking on responsibility
