Accounting Specialist - Team Lead Perspective (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

Introduction

For our client, a successful service company with many years of market experience, we are looking for a qualified personality as an Accounting Specialist with a perspective for team leadership (m/f/d) 80-100%. In this position, you will work in a professional environment with clear processes, close to the finance management, and actively participate in the further development of accounting as well as company-wide financial topics.

Tasks

• Active collaboration in financial accounting (general and subsidiary ledger, reconciliations, payment processes)
• Support with VAT returns as well as tax issues
• Active support with quarterly and annual closings as well as with group-wide consolidation work and intercompany reconciliations
• Active support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and multi-year planning
• Active participation in ensuring and optimizing processes and quality standards in accounting
• Assumption of technical responsibility for the financial modules of the ERP system as well as further development of reporting, visualizations and digital tools
• Prospectively assuming technical and personnel leadership responsibility in accounting

Profile

• Sound education at tertiary level in the finance area or in auditing with adequate qualification
• Several years of practical experience in finance-related functions, especially in accounting, reporting, closing or auditing environments
• Very confident handling of Excel as well as practice in data-based analysis and reporting tools and financial ERP systems
• Knowledge in the project-based service environment or in project accounting is an advantage
• Combination of joy in operational accounting work and a pronounced understanding of processes, quality and efficiency
• Interest in digital solutions as well as openness towards automation and AI-supported applications in Finance
• Clear motivation to develop into a technical or personnel leadership role in the medium term
• Independent, structured and resilient way of working with high implementation competence
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing, French skills welcome
