Your tasks

• Establishment and further development of the newly created function Head of IT Switzerland as well as assumption of overall responsibility for the Swiss IT organization
• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of the local IT team
• Development and implementation of the IT strategy in close cooperation with the management and the international IT managers
• Ensuring stable, secure and economical IT operations at all Swiss locations
• Planning, management and implementation of IT, infrastructure and digitalization projects
• Responsibility for the IT infrastructure, networks, servers, workstation systems as well as Microsoft and cloud environments
• Management and coordination of external IT service providers as well as cooperation with international IT specialist teams
• Responsibility for IT security, data protection, business continuity and compliance with compliance and ISO-27001 requirements
• Budget planning and cost control for the entire IT area
• Continuous optimization of IT processes, service management and support services
• Advising the management on technological issues as well as identification and introduction of new technologies

Your profile

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a leading IT function with leadership responsibility
• Sound knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure, networks, Microsoft technologies, virtualization and cloud solutions
• Experience in managing IT projects as well as the implementation of digitalization initiatives
• Good knowledge of IT security, IT governance as well as ideally ITIL and ISO 27001
• Entrepreneurial mindset as well as strong organizational and communication skills
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High service orientation as well as enjoyment of working with different stakeholders
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good English skills; Italian skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland
• Driver's license category B
