As our long-standing employee is entering well-deserved retirement, we are looking for a motivated and proactive personality for his succession as Technician Water and Heat Supply (80 - 100 %) This is your job Monitoring, operation, maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of the systems and facilities of the water and heat supply (intakes, reservoirs, pumping stations, energy/heating centers, distribution network, hydrants, shut-off devices) Competent and service-oriented advice as well as support for customers and specialist departments/persons Collaboration as a technician with a focus on water supply and secondarily on heat supply (estimated ratio 70/30) Support of the department head in all technical matters of the water and heat supply Inspection work according to the applicable provisions of the QS manual and management of checklists regarding maintenance work Laying and repair of underground pipes as well as monitoring of construction and laying work (main and distribution network, house connection lines) incl. measurement, pressure test, and commissioning Operation and monitoring of the process control systems Maintaining and analyzing statistics on water extraction, water treatment, as well as heat generation and distribution Monitoring of the catchment areas (spring and groundwater intakes) Monitoring of stock levels, management of the goods warehouse Maintenance of vehicles, machines, and tools Installation, replacement, and reading of water and heat meters On-call and emergency service, troubleshooting What you bring with you Completed vocational training as a sanitary or heating technician with good knowledge of the respective other field Additional training as a Brunnenmeister SVGW with federal diploma or the willingness to complete this additional training Knowledge of MS Office or the willingness to learn it Enjoyment of a wide range of tasks Independent and reliable way of working, organizational flair Readiness for deployment, pleasant manners, team player Willingness to perform on-call duty Driver's license Cat.
