Our developments make an important contribution to safe, efficient, and sustainable production, mobility, and communication.   In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) business unit, we manufacture specialized components required for the precise control of plasma processes, which are used in the production of memory chips or touchscreens for sensors, smartphones, or tablets.   What you will do: • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Equipment Engineering, Technical Process Engineering, and Industrialization areas • Responsibility for the conception, evaluation, procurement, and commissioning of plants and equipment • Industrialization of standard products, including through the development of lean manufacturing concepts, the creation of production documentation, and the maintenance of MES master data • Development, documentation, and maintenance of technical production processes as well as their validation • Continuous optimization of production processes in terms of material flow, handling, documentation, and shop floor layout in close cooperation with production   What you bring: • Completed technical training with further training to engineer (mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent) • Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing are mandatory • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in an industrial production environment • Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills as well as experience in leading and developing teams • Experience with modern engineering and production processes as well as digital tools such as MES, PLM, Confluence, or Jira is an advantage • Sound technical knowledge in industrial automation and ideally in vacuum, high voltage, or materials technology   Why Comet?
