A carpenter

Within the Foundation's technical service, you will ensure, according to internal requests, the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and renovation of infrastructure, furniture, or equipment, mainly made of wood.
Versatile, you will also intervene as an operations agent to support the various activities of the technical service. You thus contribute to the proper functioning of the infrastructure and equipment of the Foundation's sites.
In consultation with your hierarchy, you will organize your workload in accordance with the needs of internal clients and the prioritization of tasks. You will propose solutions adapted to the needs of the sites and beneficiaries, taking into account quality, safety, durability, and economy.
You carry out projects according to established plans, choose appropriate materials, and ensure the assembly, installation, and adjustment of manufactured elements. You also ensure the basic maintenance of tools, machines, and equipment used in the workshop.
In all your activities, you supervise and support employees, apprentices, interns, and people in adapted employment in their professional journey, promoting their integration, autonomy, and the development of their skills.
Main missions:
Manufacture, repair, renovate, and adapt furniture, wooden elements, or specific equipment.
Carry out carpentry work based on internal requests, plans, or identified needs.
Ensure the assembly, installation, adjustment, and finishing of manufactured elements.
Perform maintenance and repair interventions on existing infrastructure and equipment.
Participate in the general activities of the technical service as a versatile operations agent.
Plan interventions taking into account priorities, site constraints, and the needs of beneficiaries.
Propose adapted, durable, and economically relevant technical solutions.
Ensure the routine maintenance of tools, machines, and equipment used in the workshop.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality rules in the execution of work.
Supervise and support employees, apprentices, interns, and employees in adapted employment.

Must hold a CFC in carpentry or an equivalent training.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Solid skills in manufacturing, repairing, renovating, and installing wooden elements.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans.
Aptitude to propose practical, adapted, and economical solutions.
Experience in an institutional, social, or medico-social environment is an asset.
Experience in supervising apprentices, interns, or employees in integration is an asset.
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities.
Good knowledge of safety rules related to the use of workshop machines and tools.
Good knowledge of standard IT tools.
Swiss nationality or valid permit.
