In this role, you are part of the Group Controlling Team and are responsible for the financial management and transparency of the Technology (TEC) and Business Units (BU) areas. You work closely with various departments and management and support strategic decision-making with well-founded analyses, forecasts, and reports. Senior Controller R&D & Business (w/m/d) - 100% Your Typical Day You act as a Finance Business Partner for the TEC and BU management as well as for Executive Committee members and actively support them as a sparring partner in strategic, financial, and structural decisions. You constructively challenge TEC and BU units, represent the financial overall perspective of the Group, and ensure that decisions are made in a sustainable, economic, and strategy-conform manner. You prepare cost, performance, and KPI developments in a decision-oriented manner, present them regularly to the Executive and BU management, and derive clear, implementable recommendations for action, including risks and target conflicts. You are responsible for forecasts, medium-term planning (MTP), hourly rate calculations, as well as business cases, scenario analyses, and ROI evaluations for investments and assess their impact. You ensure that reports, dashboards, and analyses are not only correct but also relevant to management. You continuously develop and optimize the existing reporting, forecasting, and planning processes and improve KPI-based performance monitoring within the TEC processes. You support the respective Production Centers in all relevant controlling topics and conduct ad-hoc analyses and evaluations of relevant individual decisions. You accompany investment projects from a controlling perspective - from planning in Clarity to project setup and cost monitoring in SAP. Additionally, you support the Project and Portfolio Manager in the context of PLC projects as a deputy. Your Profile You have a completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on controlling or finance. You already have several years of professional experience in controlling in an industrial environment. Ideally, you have gained experience in business or R&D controlling and have advised management. You have pronounced knowledge of SAP, particularly in the CO, FI, and PS modules. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel characterizes you - especially with regard to data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Experience with BI tools like Power BI is an advantage. You communicate fluently in German and English in writing and speaking. A high affinity for numbers as well as an interest in business management contexts and systems characterize you. You work analytically, structured, and independently.
