Assistance and support to a person in a school setting: Accompany a girl with a disability in daily life tasks (locker room, toilets, meals, changing classrooms during transitions, etc.). Help the girl move around, with her auxiliary means, in class, in the hallways, and during recess. Help the girl access the school upon arrival and escort her to the driver in charge of taking her back home. Ensure the girl's comfort throughout the day and propose adaptations in collaboration with teachers, the school administration, parents, or any responsible person. Know how to perform appropriate actions according to the girl's disability (toilets, meals, etc.). Accompany the girl on potential school outings, facilitate her participation, and ensure that the circumstances are adapted for her. Support in school activities (except for pedagogical tasks which are the responsibility of teachers): Explain again the instructions given by the teacher and ensure they are well understood; Support the understanding of the teachings given by repeating or reformulating them and ensuring they are well understood; Follow the girl in the realization of the given exercises, write for the girl what she formulates orally or help her use an auxiliary means (computer) so that she can follow the pace of the class or the specifically adapted pace for her (additional time) which will allow her to accomplish the requested task; Accompany the girl in the same way in group activities proposed by the teacher. Help with participation in social life in a school setting: Facilitate the girl's social interactions within the class, during recess, during outings, or specific activities. Communicate and collaborate: Communicate and collaborate with teachers, student follow-up managers, parents, or the school administration to ensure that the girl can be integrated into school life in the best possible way and that her learning takes place in the best conditions. Coordinate with teachers on the program and objectives to be achieved; propose specific adjustments if necessary; participate in network sessions to share daily experience with professionals who follow the girl and parents.
