As a Mediamatiker*in, you will work in various departments at Lonza. The training combines elements of the professions of Informatiker*in and Kaufmann / Kauffrau, but other skills are also taught. The focus is on the areas of IT, marketing, multimedia, project management, communication and administration. You will participate in the production of internal videos, create presentations and posters/flyers etc. The training is very versatile and opens many doors for the future. Your training The training lasts four years. Of this, the first year is completed at the vocational school as a basic training year. During this year, various action competencies in IT and design are acquired. Three days per week, practical work is carried out under the guidance of experienced vocational trainers. From the second year of apprenticeship, the training continues in the various departments of Lonza and MINTworld. Mediamatiker*innen attend vocational school for a maximum of two days per week.
