La Clinique de Genolier is part of the Swiss Medical Network, a Swiss national network comprising approximately 25 hospitals and more than 70 health centers.

The nuclear medicine department of La Clinique de Genolier is recognized as an SIWF training center of category B for a maximum duration of two years. It offers a position for a resident physician or a deputy chief physician.

Our center is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub in the heart of the Genolier campus, in the immediate vicinity of the radio-oncology and radiology departments. It is one of the two GE HealthCare European Centers of Excellence for molecular imaging and theranostics, as well as a founding member of the GE HealthCare international network of Innovation Centers.

The center actively collaborates with several Swiss and regional hospitals and institutions, including the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève, l'Hôpital cantonal de Lucerne, the hospitals of Nyon and Morges, the Centre Hospitalier Alpes Léman, as well as the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon.

We have an active research program in the fields of advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, and clinical trials. We also supervise students from technical colleges as well as experienced researchers.

In the coming months, the first commercial OMNI-Total-Body-PET system with an axial coverage of 128 cm, the first commercial upgrade in the world of a StarGuide system to the GX-Dual-Sided configuration, as well as a theranostics unit with radiation-shielded patient rooms will be commissioned.

The center offers the entire spectrum of diagnostic examinations for adult patients, particularly in oncology, PET cardiology, and neurology. In addition, we perform all conventional nuclear medicine examinations as well as complete multimodal imaging protocols including diagnostic CT examinations.

You will be part of a team of five senior physicians. Two of them have an academic link: one person at the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève and another as head of the theranostics unit of the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon.

Your training will also take place under the supervision of specialist physicians holding two federal specialist titles, notably in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology.

Job Description ##

We are looking for a physician wishing to obtain the federal specialist title in nuclear medicine.

The position is suitable for both candidates with previous experience in nuclear medicine and persons wishing to start in this specialty.

Supervision will be provided by the experienced senior physicians of the department.

The position offers you:

• direct and progressive access to the entire spectrum of diagnostic examinations;
• active participation in the therapy and theranostics program;
• participation in internal and external multidisciplinary case meetings as well as tumor boards;
• integration into existing training networks;
• structured supervision in accordance with the requirements of the SIWF training program.

The design and implementation of a personal research project are also supported, notably to satisfy the requirements of the SIWF training program.

Qualifications ##

• Swiss medical degree or equivalent foreign degree recognized by MEBEKO
• Ability to work in French, or willingness and aptitude to quickly acquire the necessary linguistic skills in French
