• Developing and implementing measures to ensure energy supply, including recording them in ordinances, instructions, etc.
• Monitoring the energy supply situation together with industry and other partners
• Conducting analyses and evaluating and interpreting data in a targeted manner
• Planning and conducting shortage scenario exercises, taking responsibility in the event of a crisis
• Leading and supporting projects and working groups within the framework of the strategic and operational work of the Economic National Supply
• Preparing statements, representing the office in national and international bodies

This makes you unique

• Master's degree, e.g., economics, engineering, politics, natural/environmental sciences, energy economics/systems or comparable
• Experience in the energy sector or comparable
• Strong analytical and methodical skills, enjoyment of working with data
• Confident appearance, negotiation skills and high social competence and resilience
• Team spirit, high personal responsibility and audience-oriented communication
• Good knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of the third official language as well as English skills

The Bundesamt für wirtschaftliche Landesversorgung BWL is the national competence center for questions of supply security. In the event of shortage situations, it supports the private sector in securing the country's supply of vital goods and services.
