HPS Affoltern is a special day school for children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 with cognitive or multiple impairments. Our school is integrated into the Stigeli primary school building in Affoltern am Albis.

School Social Worker 30 % ##

Your tasks ###

• You will continue the school social work established at our HPS since summer 2024 and develop it further with us.
• You advise and support students, parents, and teachers with school-related, social, and family challenges.
• You support teachers in the early detection and processing of social issues.
• You work closely with internal and external specialist agencies as well as authorities and undertake the corresponding networking if required.
• What you bring with you ###
• Degree in Social Work (FH/HF); ideally with CAS School Social Work or solution-oriented counseling
• Ideally experience in school social work or in a special education environment
• Joy and skill in dealing with children and adolescents with disabilities
• Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation and in the further development of our school
• Advantageous: willingness to use a therapy or school dog
